Frequently asked questions
Common questions
Do customers need to create an account before requesting a quote?
Customers can send a quote request from the marketplace. An account helps them track quote requests, attached media, job status, and reviews.
Why does an artisan need NIN and liveness verification?
Identity verification helps protect customers and improves trust. Passing verification can add a verified identity badge to the artisan profile.
Can artisans upload proof of work?
Yes. Artisans can upload portfolio images and videos from their account dashboard after claiming or creating their profile.
Who controls customer reviews?
Reviews are customer-led. Admin does not change honest reviews, but may remove fake, abusive, threatening, or private-information content.
What happens when an artisan accepts a quote lead?
The quote status updates so the artisan can follow up with the customer. Customers can later mark the job completed or review the artisan.
